1 chicken (1 kg)
1 head of garlic
1 l cooking cream
50 g butter
400 g Asiago DOP cheese
Remove the skin from the chicken and cut the chicken in half. Season both halves with salt and pepper and rub in the crushed garlic.
Place in a buttered roasting pan and pour on the cream. Finally top liberally with grated Asiago cheese, butter and place in the oven, bake at approximately 180°C.
Roast until the chicken is well done and the cheese has turned a golden color. During roasting baste the chicken with the cream. If the sauce is too thick add a little milk.
Serve with potatoes or rice.
